Another GREAT Jardine Ski Run - the 23rd.
The 23rd annual Jardine Ski Run happened last Sunday, February 28th. The Bueter's took care of business in the girl's and boy's 8k with Laura posting the best girl's time at 40:50 and Jay nailing the top spot for boys at 33:59. Betsy Story and Hayden Blackford took the top of the podium for girls and boys 4k and Sawyer Smith edged out Liam Higgins in the Pee Wees 1 k. In the marquee event, five 2 to 4 year old titans of ski-dom powered up Heartbreak Hill to lay down the gauntlet for years to come. Aidan Higgins took the top spot followed by Maya Kowski, Hawken Smith, Parker Wyman and Myles Faerber.
The grownups had their day as well with Kristin Wadle winning the Women's Skate at 34:28 and Stacey Gunther winning the Women's Classic at 46:56. After a couple of years of dominance Forrest Madsen had to settle for the silver as Doug Wadle posted the 3rd best EVER time to take the Men's Skate Gold at 27:26. Sam Bolinger went home with the coveted Men's Classic crown at 40:43.
